What we're looking for
- Have a good understanding of SWIFT and ISO 20022 payment messaging;
- Have a high degree of attention to detail and highly organised;
- Be able to work under pressure;
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Be self-motivated and work on own initiative as well as within a team.
Nice to have
Experience in banking or financial services will be considered an asset.
The role
In line with the Bank's continued development, the need has arisen to engage suitable individuals to perform the duties of Payments Officer. The successful candidate will join the Data Processing Management Department.
What you'll do
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the operational requirements of SWIFT;
- Processing of FIN messages on SWIFT;
- Maintaining and updating SWIFT RMAs.;
- Preparing monthly statistics;
- Ensuring relative Disaster Recovery mechanisms are fully operational.
