Head Chef

AX Care is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen operation. The successful candidate will oversee the kitchen team, food production, quality standards, stock control, and costs while ensuring all meals are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team and daily operation.
• Oversee the preparation, production, and presentation of all food items.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor food costs, payroll, stock levels, and overall kitchen performance.
• Coordinate with the Food and Beverage Service Manager and Events Manager.
• Ensure adequate stock is available to meet daily service requirements.
• Support the preparation of departmental budgets and objectives.

• Between 2 and 5 years' experience in a senior chef role.
• Professional culinary qualification.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Ability to manage costs and kitchen resources effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised, professional, and creative.
• Flexible availability according to operational requirements.
