  • Coordinate design requirements with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers and contractors, reviewing shop drawings, samples, prototypes and other technical submittals to maintain design intent.
  • Manage and support projects from inception through to completion, including planning, design development, procurement, execution and handover, while preparing clear work plans and coordinating tasks across the design team.
  • Undertake regular site visits to monitor progress and installation quality, resolve design-related issues, supervise the execution of works and manage snagging through to completion.
  • Prepare and coordinate planning applications, permits, drawings and regulatory documentation, liaising with relevant authorities and maintaining accurate records of approvals and project decisions.
  • Manage the commercial and procurement aspects of assigned projects, including specifications, tender documentation, bills of quantities, material sourcing, payments, variations and cost-related design input.
  • Lead and review design work produced by team members, mentor junior designers and promote high standards of quality, sustainability, safety and professional practice.
  • Attend and contribute to project, client and stakeholder meetings, preparing and presenting reports, proposals, applications, contracts and design presentations as required, while undertaking other professional duties necessary for the effective operation of the Development Office
